Staff sign-in

Positional risk: prolonged restraint face-down, or under significant body weight, can restrict breathing regardless of intent — this is a recognized, serious safety concern.
Duration matters: a restraint that was reasonable for 10 seconds may become excessive at 2 minutes if the subject has stopped resisting.
Monitor continuously: check responsiveness and breathing throughout any physical restraint, and release or reposition the moment control is achieved.
